A Fun Star Trek Surprise — I’m the Voice of the USS Griffin Computer!
I recently received a very unexpected surprise from a Star Trek fan who asked me about being the voice of the USS Griffin Computer in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, Season 4, Episode 2, “The Griffin Incident.”
The funny thing is—I didn’t know I had gotten the role!
I’ve been fortunate to work steadily doing additional voices and small VO roles throughout the Star Trek universe for many years, going all the way back to Star Trek: The Next Generation. I’ve also been working on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds since Season 1. Much of that work has been uncredited, so I was delighted to discover that this time I had actually been credited as the USS Griffin Computer.
What a wonderful way to find out!
I’m so grateful to continue being a small part of the Star Trek universe after all these years—and now I can officially add the USS Griffin Computer to my list of voice roles.
A special thank you to the fan who brought it to my attention!
Here’s to many more strange new worlds!
We will miss you Tom Kane
My heart is aching. Today, we lost one of the best humans on the planet. Tom Kane passed away surrounded by his loving wife, Cindy, and his family.
Tom was not only a truly gifted, incredible, and prolific voice actor, but one of the most genuine and kind people I have ever known. He was the proud father of nine — yes, nine — children, whom he loved beyond measure.
I feel so blessed to have worked alongside him, and even more blessed to have known and loved him as part of my Powerpuff Girls family. I’m deeply grateful I was able to spend time with him one last time at Lexington Comic & Toy Convention in March 2026.
Tom leaves behind an extraordinary legacy, countless unforgettable performances, and so many people who loved him dearly. But I think I will miss my dear Professor most of all.
I love you, Tom. You will always be in my heart.
Good Bye Professor
I had such a wonderful time as a guest at The Nostalgia Con on June 19–20, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California!
It was a joy meeting so many wonderful fans and reconnecting with fellow voice actor Ian James Corlett, who was kind enough to sign a Goku photo for my daughter and son-in-law. Afterward, I realized that Ian and I had actually worked together on the first season of What’s with Andy! It’s a small world in the voice acting community!
Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello—I loved seeing you all!
My husband and I had such a wonderful time meeting all of the amazing fans who joined us at Hall of Heroes Comic Con, held May 30–31, 2026, at the Northern Indiana Event Center in Elkhart, Indiana.
A special thank you to Allen and his wife, Beth-Ann, who went out of their way to give us a personal tour of the incredible Hall of Heroes Museum. It was a real highlight of our trip! I’ve included a few photos from our visit below.
If you ever have the opportunity to visit the museum, I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s a must-see for any comic book or superhero fan!
I had so much fun meeting everyone at the Dallas, Texas Nostalgia Con May 2 & 3rd at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinasa 500 W Las Colinas Blvd., Irving, TX 75039! And it was so great to see PPG Alum Tom Kenny and Tara Strong there! Here are some pictures of my wonderful fans!
I had a great time meeting everyone at Sacanime April 24th-26th, 2026 in Sacramento! Here is a pic with the cartoon network panel and some selfies with fans!
